Streaming media over internet issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • Have installed Windows Home Server 2011 MSDN release on my Acer H340. Did a brand new clean installation and installed all windows updates. All seems to work like a charm except one part of WHS that I realy liked in the Beta release: streaming library contend over the internet via remote website.

When i load this page, the contend of all frames is loading. The media library takes some more time and shows the result after 1 minute of loading:

"An error has occurred on the server. Please try again later. If the error continues, view Support Information for help."

You already understand: the support information doesn't result in a good solution. So i searched the internet and some forums but not a lot of people have the same problem. (found one unresolved)

strangest part of all: when I restart the server and load the website once the server is up again, it works for about 5 minutes! Pics, movies and music is loading and showing thumbnails. So I click one of them (random) and the new subfolder starts loading. However, 5 minutes later I get the same error message.

I looked into the eventvwr applog and found one warning:
