WHS add-ins cleaner? RRS feed

  • Question

  • guys,

I've just uninstalled an app for WHS, (My Movies for Windows Home Server) and the app is still showing up on the Server add-ins page.

Is there another way of getting this entry on the add-ins page removed? Was wondering if there was a "add-ins" cleaner type of software.

    Thanks

    Neil.

  • Hi Olaf,

Thank you, reinstalling it and uninstalling done the trick, I had de-installed it prior through the console so no idea why I came accross the problem.

Also, many thanks for helping me out re the disk storage problem, its all sorted.... THANK YOU.

  • Hi Neil,
how did you perform the uninstall?
Through the console or via Add or Remove programs in control panel?
The later method is not supported and should only be used in case of emergency.
Maybe try to download the latest version, copy it to the Add-Ins folder in the software share of your WHS, install the Add-In again in the console and in the next step try to uninstall again in the console.
    Best greetings from Germany
