I installed a SIIG SATA 150 card and new seagate 300 gb sata hardrive in a Dell Dimension 4550, and the server installation refused to install on that drive because the driver for SIIG would not work on installation. At the time the ide drive on the system was 30gb so it saw that drive and said you did not have sufficient storage room. however when I swapped the 30gb ata drive out for 200gb ata, server installed and I was able to load the same driver to recognize the 300gb as a secondary drive.
-i think there is an issue with sata boot driver for home server
