OneCare persistently blocking Logitech Desktiop Messenger RRS feed

  • Question

  • After startup, OnCare prompts what to do with Logitech Desktop Manager.
I have to reply "allow" every time - even though I have added the program to the allowed list.
Any explanation - or help in getting rid of this annoying problem?

  • Please check to make sure that your hard disks are not set to Dynamic.

Click Start, then right-click on My Computer and choose Manage

Look in here for Disk Management and click on it

Look at your hard disks on the right and check to make sure that the TYPE is set to BASIC.

If it's set to Dynamic, this can be the cause of this issue.  OneCare is not compatible with Dynamic Disks and you can get all kinds of wierd firewall behavior if you have Dynamic Disks.

    hope this helps.
