windows 10 update...HELP RRS feed

    i have requested to have the windows 10 update. ( I am using windows 8.1 on a hp laptop)

    I have allowed windows to prepare my device to install updates, however it got to restarting the device and that's where it all went wrong.

    when I click restart the laptop restarts and no updates or installations have been made, and then it turns itself back on again and prompts me to restart again for updates. every time I do this nothing changes/happens. I think ive restarted it about 20 times now and still nothing.

    please can someone help me!

    As the Microsoft Community is on a different platform, we cannot move the question for you.
