Suggestion: Ability to unpropose posts you proposed as the answer RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Sometimes we hit the wrong button and hit Propose as Answer instead of Quote. Can you add a feature where you can unpropose Answer on posts you proposed the answer on instead of waiting for a mod to come around and unpropose it for you?

  • Joelbx, I don't know who was deleted or why, but I agree with you.

I know I have hit that button in error more than once.

He was telling me some javascript stuff for the forums, which I used to figure how to get to the unpropose screeen for a post (has something to do with (i forget if this works or not): right click reply or quote button for post, open in new tab, at end of link take out quote or reply and add (without quotes) 'proposeAnswer' in its place, press enter once added to get propose screen, uncheck checkbox and press submit), but you need a moderator account in order for the unpropose to go through...
