    Until recently when friends posted in their own language on my facebook news page a little box appeared underneath translate and I will able to do this. This translate box has disappeared, how do I get it back?

    Hi Tricia,

    my suspicion is that this particular post was not detected as being in a foreign language.

    Can you add here which application you are using to access Facebook?

    Good morning Chris,

    Thank you for your reply, I am using English application. Bing is translating Russian!! but not French on my facebook (my French is lousy) and I have a lot of French friends. Please help.

    Hi Tricia,

    If your Facebook profile state that you understand French, Facebook will not offer translation from French to English. Is that the case?
