Can reference manuals be taken in the exam room? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Do I understand correctly that now it is all right to have a reference manual with you in the exam room?

  • Hi Dan.

I'm not aware of such a change: as far as I know, it is not allowed for the candidate to take a book within the exam's room (I've taken a Microsoft SharePoint exam a couple of months ago).
Where did you get such an information?

    Bye.

  • Not to my knowledge. I took an exam a few months ago and I had to empty my pockets and remove my wrist watch before entering exam room. The only thing I was allowed to take in was a tissue for my runny nose.

  • I've taken a Microsoft certification exam recently and the approximate phrase "you are allowed to take a bunch of books" caught my eye while signing the pre-exam papers (NDA and so on). I'll go to the Pearson VUE lab as soon as I can to clarify (at that moment I was completely focused on passing the exam, didn't think it will be so hard).
