  • I renewed and paid for my subscription but OneCare keeps telling me the subscription is expired.  How do I get it updated properly??

  • Go to http://billing.microsoft.com and sign in with your subscription LiveID to confirm the subscription status as renewed.

    Check you PC date and time - an incorrect date will cause this.

    In OneCare, click Check for Updates.

    If the first two points can be confirmed, you may want to try the "hit it with a hammer" solution and reinstall OneCare and activate once again with your subscription LiveID. Note that any settings you have done for firewall, backup, schedule, etc. will be lost at reinstall.
