Permisions for using dialog? RRS feed

  • I have created custom dialogueand i am opening it from ribbon using javascript. It works fine for me but my sales get error :

    Access denied , You don't have enough privileges to access...What permissions i have to grant them so they can use this dialogue?

    Enable the trace and see which security role necessary to run the dialog, the full error will give you the necessary privilegie. Check this two articles about security in processes:

  • The best way in these solutions is to open the log file. At the end of the first line it usually says what privilege is missing. Usually for running dialog "process" and "dialog session" privileges are needed (customization tab). Give full permission on these entities to see it got OK or not! If not see the log file as mentioned.
