CRM SharePoint Integration (CRM 2011 On-Premise - SharePoint 2010) RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I am trying to implement below integration between CRM 2011 On-Premise and SharePoint 2010.

    On CRM, when new Account is created, then on SharePoint side, one subsite is created for that Account using workflow.

    CRM Account Test > SharePoint Sub site created like, http://intranetsite/sites/accounts/TEST

    For all other entities like Opportunities, Cases etc. how can I implement the Document management so that it would create these Document libraries under created subsite of particular account.

    i.e. Opportunities document library would be created under http://intranetsite/sites/accounts/TEST.

    And same should be followed whenever any new account is created.

    Questions are:

    1. Do I need to create plugin or custom workflow to create these document libraries, or I can use OOTB feature under Document management settings?

    2. One creation of Account, I have created one Task. and On creation of Task, workflow should be initiated.

    Will this be fine or it may slow down the process of creation of Account. record ?

    Please suggest.
