    I know my software is valid with valid key. Windows 7 professional

    what happens if you attempt validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate ?

    There is no need to do that.  The tool masks the first two fields anyway and that is more than sufficient to render the remainder useless to anyone else.  However the remaining fields do contain potentially useful diagnostic info.  If you see the error again post the report unedited.

    I haven't gotten the error since and everything seems to be working o_O...I'll place a post if it happens again i suppose.

  • There's really nothing bad about editing what was there of the key, it was already useless right?  doesn't hurt anything
