HOW DO I POST IN THIS FORUM Windows Mobile Developer Center > Windows Phone Forums > Windows Phone 7

when I am in that forum and i click "ask" it makes me select a forum category and none of them are the one that i was in when I clicked "ask a question" .
I have no idea what is going on.
I just want to ask a question in the forum i was currently reading, namely this one
Windows Mobile Developer Center > Windows Phone Forums > Windows Phone 7

Since your question is about Forum usages, I have moved your thread to Forum Issues.
As far as I know, AppHub forums is the official site for Windows Phone 7 issues http://forums.create.msdn.com/forums/.
