WGA; now what?

Question
-
I bought Office Professional from specialtechs.com, they still have it available, they say their software is 100% authentic and I paid thru PayPal and now I am getting the message that is is not genuine. What do I do at this point? It is not OEM, the COA looks the same as the one posted and says Office Pro 2007 Win 32, the Product Key is in the case, the book is in the case and the hologram is side to side. Everything looks good, so what do I do?

Hello Holland8462,
"The software we provide is original." What does "original" mean?
The question about a previous or Trial version is a valid question, because if a previous nongenuine version of Office is installed on a computer, along with a genuine installation, the OGA Notifier will notify you that you have a nongenuine installation on the computer. As far as I know, an expired Trial version of Office does not get reported as nongenuine.
But in your case this is not the problem. The mgadiag report is showing only one installation of Office, the nongenuine Office Pro Plus.
OGA Data-->
After installation, it is very easy to distinguish Office Professional 2007 from Office Professional Plus 2007. The "Plus" in Pro Plus indicates that Pro Plus has two programs that the retail Office Professional does not, Office Communicator and Office InfoPath. Also, Office Professional 2007 has Outlook with Business Contact Manager, while Pro Plus just has plain Outlook.

Volume Licenses for Office are intended for larger organizations that want flexibility in managing installations on a of a ton of computers. Volume Licensing editions of Office include editions like Pro Plus that are geared for the needs of big organizations, that's why Pro Plus has those two extra programs, InfoPath and Communicator. InfoPath is a program that makes forms and compiles the data entered into those forms, and Communicator combines instant messaging, voice, desktop sharing and video. Your average Office user in a small business or office would have no use for these programs. Also, look for any indication of Business Contact Manager in your Outlook installation. Pro Plus just has plain Outlook, so it's likely you won't find BCM anywhere in Outlook.
Just look at the chart on this page: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/FX102464411033.aspx
Please ask this question:
"This item was represented to me as Office Professional 2007, and the product package says Office Professional 2007, and the disc says Office Professional 2007. Why does it install Office Professional Plus 2007, and why is the Product Key judged as Invalid by Microsoft?"

From your MGA report:
OGA Data-->
Office Status: 108 Invalid VLK
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 - 108 Invalid VLKUnfortunately, the installed copy of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 is non-genuine because it is counterfeit. The invalid product key was never issued by Microsoft and was likely created by a counterfeiter using an illegal product key generator (KeyGen). You can review your options by visiting Microsoft Genuine Advantage and clicking on Validate Office. When validation fails, you will be presented with a Get Genuine button to click on.

P.S. You should send a copy of your MGA report to the entity that sold you the counterfeit copy of Office and demand a complete refund.
