these kind of resources are not used as generic resources? So you will not replace them by named resource at some point during project completion? If these people will never need to log into the system, there is no need to be a windows user (no need to enable
Resource can logon to Project Server). There is another possibility next to delegation.
If it is always the same person entering time as them, you can set up these resources as non-generic, and set the person responsible for entering progress as their "Default Assignment Owner" in Resource Center - Edit Resource. All tasks assigned to this
resource will be displayed in Tasks.
If there are different people entering progress, you can define the name with Project client. Open a
Resource Usage view, add column Assignment Owner, and change name accordingly.
If you add Resource Name to My Assignments view, Resource name will be dispalyed and can be used for grouping, to make progress entry easier for different resources.
