Your problem is that for some reason, Windows is unable to properly access the BIOS to cross-check the key against the certificate in the BIOS.
To correct this problem, you will have to change the Product key to the one on the COA Sticker on the case of your computer.
Look for the sticker, and check that you can read the Key on it (it's a string of 25 characters, split into groups of 5)
If you find and can read it, then go to System Properties, and look at the bottom of the page, you'll find there and option to Change Product Key. - click on that, and then follow the instructions to change the key to the one on your sticker. You will then need to activate the Key by telephone.

  • Thanks so much. I've done what you said and it said that activation was successful. What do you mean by activate it by telephone?

Thanks so much. I've done what you said and it said that activation was successful. What do you mean by activate it by telephone?

If for some reason activation over the internet fails, there is an option to activate over the telephone, by inputting numbers to an automated (or operator) service.
This is sometimes required when using a COA Key, depending on the history of the machine.
Hopefully, the machine is now fully activated, and you should have no further problem - if you do, come back here and post a new MGADiag report, and we'll take a look.
