We have just released the Caliper Maptitude port of our MPMileage batch point-to-point mileage calculation product.
Although this is technically not a MapPoint product, it is a port of a MapPoint product will be of interest to many MapPoint users looking for alternatives.
Input locations are read from a database table, and the results are written directly back to this table. MPMileage supports all of Caliper's route finding options, including fastest routes, shortest routes, and straight line distances.
The Maptitude version supports most of the features of the MapPoint version but works as an add-in with Caliper Maptitude instead of as a standalone program. It also adds "Maptitude Data View" as a database type, and supports the full range of
road speeds introduced in out MileCharter for Maptitude product.
