Inconsistent Incoming/Outgoing/Missed Call Logs for OCS calls RRS feed

  • Hi there,

    When phone-mode or computer mode calls are received or originated by the OC Client - the incoming and outgoing call logs are generated very inconsistently. Has anyone seen similar inconsistent behavior?

    We are integrating OCS 2007 Released version with Outlook 2003 SP2.

    I'd appreciate any comments/input on this.

    maybe this problem is related to Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003 - public folders, caches, etc.


    With Exchange 2007 and its Web-Services, the Office Communicator Client will use the Exchange Autodiscover feature to find this services and will exchange informations (like calls, mails for MWI message waiting indication, etc) in real time and directly.


    This is not the case with Ex 2003 and Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2007. It's not real time and maybe not consistently, because of the way how public folders work. Communicator will exchange the info to the local outlook client.


    Try to use an Outlook 2007 (testversion for example) and Exchange 2007, with correctly configured Webservices and Autodiscover. Please compare the user experience to 2k3!
