Re: Failed - Computer time and date correct [0x80080210] RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have the same problem. I've verified a genuine copy of both XP and Office several times successfully but the tray icon is still there as well as the startup screen when entering XP telling me I haven't verified... The problem started bacause the first time I verified the date was wrong, but when set right I managed to verify but not get rid of the tray icon and startup screen. Is there no way to uninstall WGA and re-install with correct date?

  • Pected,

Please try the below steps for resolving your computer and time sync problem. Please re-post should you have any further problems.

    Please go to www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag

    1) Click 'Start Diagnostics'
    2) You should see 'Fail' next to 'Computer Time and Date correct'
    3) Click 'Resolve Now'
    The tool will either:
    4a) Correct the issue itself.
4b) Provide directions to help you fix the issue.

Thank you and have a great day.
