reinstall hang during update at 15% RRS feed

    This weekend my WHS wouldn't allow me to conenct to the home consolde software.  After searching this site I decided to do a server reinstall.  The reinstall went ok but when i go to install the connector software onto the laptop, it states that the WHS needs to be updated and then proceeds to do so and hangs at 15% for about 4hrs.  After which it crashes.

    Any ideas?  I have multiple TB of data and not a substantial backup (was relying on the WHS)

    Did you try uninstalling the Connector software from your laptop, rebooting it, then installing it again from \\server\software\home server connector software?  Can you logon to the server desktop, open the Console from there (using the shortcut on the desktop), and check the component numbers of it (Settings button, Resources tab)?
