Business Rule to trigger when create event happen RRS feed

  • I know this and tried this and didn't work..but just confirming...if there is any work around if any one tried this...

    I need to set one field value when any new contact get created. So does Business Rule can perform this kind of requirement to set any field value, when contact get created?? Please assist.

    Is this possible using business rule or Creating plugin is the only way??

  • Business rule works on form loads and on-change of fields.
