    what will happen to my copy of the windows 8 release preview evaluation copy when windows 8 launches, will I have to still upgrade and purchase the full version or will this version still work and I have to download the relevant updates?

    According to what I know, the Windows 8 Release Preview will expire on January 16, one day after the Community Preview. I think that Microsoft will provide users with more detailed informations about the possibility of such an upgrade when the RTM will be available.
