... and the KB data is not available! ...
Nor will it be, prior to next Tuesday. The W/SUS list the OP linked is provided by Microsoft as a courtesy for IT pros who have responsibility for patching Windows systems; it lets them determine in advance if they may want to block or force a particular update, what issues users might have after Patch Tuesday, etc.
This is all standard Microsoft practice. :)
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

No mention of any resolution of the UEFI/GPT Backup/restore issue, I see.
Sigh.

Hi Susan, when do you think we can expect the UEFI/GPT Backup issue resolved? Having a computer that is not being backed up is not comfortable. Is there any workaround? Using local backup app to backup to a network share or something like that?
Thanks,
Adam

You can use Windows Backup if you can find it in W8 ( it's well hidden).Phil P.S. If you find my comment helpful or if it answers your question, please mark it as such.

You can also use the new File History feature in Windows 8 to backup your Windows Libraries to a shared folder on your server. (Control Panel->System and Security->File History, or search Settings (WinKey-W) for 'File History'.) It's pretty cool, and you can include any location on your disk by adding it to a built-in Library, or by creating a new Library.
This is a great way to protect the data you care about, and is intended to be used in conjunction with Windows 8's "Refresh my PC" features if you have to restore your PC to a out of the box state. File History can also be used on Windows RT devices that cannot be joined to a Windows Home Server directly, such as a Microsoft Surface tablet. But it will not create a complete disk image.
As Phil says, for this you can still use Windows Backup on Windows 8 should you preferr. To quickly locate Windows Backup on a Windows 8 machine, search Settings for 'File Recovery'.

Right. In the meantime I've searched for that. Indeed it is hidden. It is also called Windows 7 backup...Sunday, December 16, 2012 2:43 PM

Well, this does not make sense with Home Server at home. All my libraries are located on the server and file history does not work on network locations. My requirement is to backup the entire client computer so in case of major failure I could simply restore entire machine.

Any news on the next update rollup?
Btw, as the WHS2011 is going to be supported by 2025 for OEM what does it actually mean? Will it still support new technologies that might pop up by that time? Or maybe we'll be given better pricing for Windows Server for home usage?
