hello ,
I am preparing for Microsoft certification exam 70-486 that is 'Developing ASP.NET MVC web application'. I have couple of questions about this exam. I want to know about exam details like , How many marks it contains for exam? How many marks it require to pass the exam ? is there any negative marking for wrong answers? This is objective type of exam so ,is there we need to select one answer for every question or we can select multiple answers if they are true? so anyone can please help me out by giving correct information. hope i'll get replay soon from someone who can help me into this :)

There is a sticky entry at the top of the forum that responds to most of your concerns:
Basically, you have to get 700 points out of 1000. The number of questions for this type of exams is somewhere around 50, but the exact figure varies for each exam. Wrong answers do not count negative, so you should never leave any questions unanswered. There are different types of questions, including single-choice and multiple-choice, and other variations such as drag-and-drop. This could be changed at any time, so there are no guarantees that your exam won't introduce any new variation in the question types and scoring.

No changes. There are some new performance-based exams, but the "traditional" exams still work in the same way as they did in 2016.Tuesday, July 9, 2019 11:07 AM
