windows xp product activation problems need help

i installed win xp pro sp2 version 5.1.2600 build 2180 on my labtop about a month ago with out the product key becouse i dont have it. now its saying i need to activate it in 3 days but when i click on " yes i want to activate it" it says that it is already activated. pls help immitly becouse ones its expired i wont be able to access my desktop except in safe modeSaturday, July 5, 2008 1:18 PM

What happened to your product key? Please run the MGA Diagnostic Tool and provide paste your results back in this same thread. Please follow the directions located @ http://forums.microsoft.com/Genuine/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2170194&SiteID=25.

Periodically Microsoft customers have misplaced discs of a purchased program and inquire about replacements. Please review the following Knowledge Base (KB) article, http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/326246, “How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and product upgrades, or replace product manuals.
If your XP Pro CD was a system builder/OEM CD, request a replacement from your system builder. If they cannot help, order a replacement from Microsoft:
