Files that cannot be scanned

Hi,
At the end of my scan, the results page reports no virus, but there are 7 files that cannot be scanned. I understand that it does not mean that I have a virus or not, but I'd like to find out what those files are. Is there a way to get OneCare Scanner to show me those files?
I only had IE7 open during the scan, so it's unlikely that the files cannot be scanned because they are in use, so I am a bit concerned (that I might have some malware on my PC).
I am running on Vista SP2.
Thanks.- Changed type JimR1Moderator Friday, September 11, 2009 3:20 AM

Only having Internet Explorer open, does not mean that IE is the only program running on your system. All the programs shown in the Processes tab of Windows Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) are active and loaded into memory. You can reduce the number of those running active processes including any malware by scanning with OneCare in Safe Mode:

Thanks Dave__M.
I am running the free version of the online scanner and therefore don't have it installed in my local directory (c:\program files\microsoft windows onecare live\). Can OneCare Live Scanner be run properly in safe mode with networking?
Thanks.Thursday, September 10, 2009 9:04 PM -
The free online Safety Scanner is supported on these forums, not on the subscription forums:

However, your answer is that the Safety Scanner can run in SAFE mode with networking :
