Office Enterprise Not Genuine RRS feed

  • Hello
    I Have enterprise 2007 and believe it is more than possible its not genuine. Brought from ebay 2 years ago, have checked and i can get a genuine copy for a reduced price from softwareforstudents. I am waiting for this to arrive. Could you advise on how i install the new version without losing the documents we have already have saved on the computer.

  • Hello ladybain,

    Uninstalling Office Enterprise 2007 using the Control Panel applet (either "Programs" in Vista or "Add or Remove Programs" in XP) is designed to preserve documents and Outlook email when saved in the default locations.

    Having written that, it's never a bad idea to have your important documents, data, and settings backed up, "just in case."  Please see this article for more detail on Outlook:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070
