Hi,
What kind of unsupported customisations you have? Can you please define, so that myself or others can address your issue.
There could be few issues. I advise to first install it on your DEV environment and have it tested from developers point of view. Then move it across to SIT for the functional consultants or BAs to test it. Then may be have business users test it. This way you can catch any issues before you move to production.
I hope this helps. If my response answered your question, please mark the response as an answer and also vote as helpful.

Hi,
Again I would advise that you should go though at least 2 levels of testing. The DEV testing to make sure your code is working. If you have unsupported JScripts, then you might need to make changes if something breaks. This should not be a major change, hopefully.
You mentioned that your workflows are created in CRM. I am assuming this means you don't have any custom workflow activities. This means your workflows should work fine.
Also the CRM rollup will only affect your code, if there are some major changes in the Roll Up. Your plugins if are doing every CRM updates through web services, then that should be fine. If you had aspx pages, then again there could be some issues. If you don't have aspx pages, so you should be alright.
Please note going forward always stick to supported customisations. In case your users are demanding something unsupported, it is better to train them.
I hope this helps. If my responses answered your question, please mark these responses as an answer and also vote them as helpful.

Hi,
Also always have your users/business analysts test your functionality. This way you are sure that the code and the required functionality works. Sometime the code all seems fine, but the functionality due to JScripts not working properly, might not work.
Good Luck.

Thanks Ashish. I have few javascripts which could create issues. Do you think plugins and workflows could be an issue. We have very few plugins and only workflows created in crm wizard.Monday, May 14, 2012 12:38 PM
