CRM - Scaling out an installation RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I'm trying to find some information on CRM that gives some guidance as to how to scale out CRM for large deployments?

    I.e., if I have a server that has 8GBs of RAM and 50% are heavy users, 30% are medium and 20% are low will this be enough capacity?

    The main point I'm trying to ascertain is when would I need another front-end?  Should I put the Email Router on its own box on Day 1?

    We are looking to put a system in for 600 - 1000 users that will be using it for CRM Management, Support, Knowledge Base and Sales Management.

    Any ideas/suggestions would be great.

    Note: I've already read through the implementation, deployment and capacity planning guides.
