My computer boots up and it looks like the graphics are in safe mode. However, my computer is not in safe mode. I have checked my control panel for my graphic settings and they appear ok. I noticed that I have many processes going in my
task manager and my System Video memory is 0 mb. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I have a HP Pavailian Elite with a Quad Core and 8G of memory. Any suggestions before I have to take it to the Geek Squad to be fixed?
I dont know what processes I need to get rid of if that is the problem. I also use Adobe Premiere Elements 7 and recently I noticed that it gave me warnings that memory was low. The computer is only 2 years old.

What video is it running? Do you have built on video or is it a PCI-e video card? A lot of the HP systems from the Core2 Duo and Quad Core families had video cards that had fan issues. Have you tested your memory and hard drive yet?
