Network Problems and Installing OneCare RRS feed

    When i try to install OneCare, it won't let me saying;

    "Network probelms are preventing OneCare installation from continuing at this time.  Please check your network connection and try again."

     

    Error ID 0014-80072EFE

     

    I am connected to the internet, what should I do?  I had a subscription to OneCare and when I bought the new version, I was told that I had to uninstall the previous version to install the new one.  please help.

  • First of all, you did not need to uninstall the old copy as it was already the latest version unless there was a problem and it hadn't been updating.

    When you actually do reinstall, activating with your same subscription LiveID will cause OneCare to inherit your old subscription so you will need to follow the renewal path, which is all you had to do originally.

    Who told you to uninstall?

     

    You may want to run the cleanup tool before trying to install once again.

  • My subscription ran out, so I bought the latest version in store and I was told I would have to uninstall before I installed the new one.  Now that I have uninstalled the old one, I can't get the new one installed.  I ran the cleanup tool and it still won't let me install it.  Please help me install the new version.
