Install error - The memory could not be read

Question

After installing drivers and getting the drive recognized I click Install and I get an Error.
WPSHELL.exe - Application error
The instruction at 0xfbe54494 Referenced Memory at 0x000adc5f
the Memory could not be read.
Click on OK to terminate the program

I had already tested memory = all good
I have decided to build a new server so i will mark this as solved

Are you asking a question about the recently released beta of Windows Home Server V2, known as "Vail"? If so, can you give a little more detail about your problem?
If not, go to the Microsoft Answers site; you'll find forums for all of Microsoft's desktop operating systems there.

Sorry but yes i am talking about Vail.I boot to the install CD and it does not recognize the hard drive so I install the drivers and it is recognized and when i try to continue by hitting the install button I get the above message.
Motherboard = Asus P8v-se deluxe
Cpu - Amd athlon 64 3200
Ram - 2gig (2x1gig sticks) slots 1+3 (1+2 did not work)
Hard drive - WD green sata 1tb
Drive attached to a Sunix controller card

Is your system drive a WD Advanced Format drive? At the top of this forum, read the Installation issues announcement; there is a known issue which may prevent Vail from installing or functioning correctly if the system drive is an advanced for amt drive.
