  • Security system 2009 somehow downloaded to my computer. it is causing havoc does anyone one know how to remove this. or is there a website that can help me. live one care will not remove it as a virus or spyware.

    OR do backup of your computer and ...

    Stop processes like:

    Find and delete these files:

    systemsecurity.exe

    SystemSecurity on the Web.lnk
    Uninstall SystemSecurity.lnk

    %desktopdirectory%\ws\init.udb

  • Hi,

    use MalwareBytes anti-malware or Spyware Doctor. Of course you can remove it manually as well. Kazzan posted files to be removed. Additionally, you can find more detailed manual removal guide at bleeping-computer.com or 2-spyware.com . Microsoft malicious software removal too is a good one, however I recommend running GMER from http://www.gmer.net to detect and remove rootkits.
