  • Hi.

Try to give parent-child BU read permisions on activities for users.

  • It sounds like everything is correct, - you might want to try creating a new test role and a testing with that - just to make sure there's not an artifact in your role that's causing it to behave unexpectedly.

If that doesn't work, you may want to open a support ticket - if anything has been 'adjusted' in your security settings, there may be deeper issues.

(I had a similar thing happen in a redeployed database - except some users could see new reports and others couldn't. - regardless of security.)

  • One other Security option you might need to get this working is Parental read rights on Queue under Core Records.  If that doesn't work, then I would run with Scott's suggestion.

  • Rather than selecting the 'business unit' security option (the orange 1/2 circle), you need to click once more and choose the "Parent: Child Business Units" option - the partial green circle.

  • Are you granting read to only the activity - Or do they have read rights on the entities the activities are attached to?

  • Just a guess - but do they have read rights to the system users in the child business units?
