Help on changing CRM 4.0 infrastructure

Hello everyone,

we are currently deploying CRM 4.0 on one machine and SQL on another. We want to change that, so that both are on the same machine (a new one).

I guess that I would have to export the db from the old SQL server and import it to the new one, and create the same users as in the old CRM.

I would appreciate any tips on the whole procedure.

You can use the Deployment Manager to do this.

Recommend doing it in a test environment before doing it to the live server.

Dear Hassan,

thank you for your reply. I don't want to change the org db name, but I guess that the procedure is pretty much the same after importing the data to the new SQL server and configuring the new installation of CRM for the first time. Correct?
