    Is it possible to use Windows Live Writer to write tweets to Twitter?  If I specify my Twitter account, will WLW be aware of the 140 character limit?  If I want to post a link to a tweet, is WLW use something like bit.ly or tinyurl.com to automatically shorten the link to something Twitter can more appropriately handle?

    As far as I know, Windows Live Writer doesn't handle Twitter updates. Try Digsby IM program for Twitter updates or Hootsuite.
