Restore Does Not Work RRS feed

  • I am attempting to restore a single file.  My procedure:

    1.  Chose Custom Restore
    2.  Chose Restore Files From The Current Backup
    3.  Chose Search For Files To Restore
    4.  Selected the file to restore
    5.  Chose Restore Files With Duplicate Names To My OneCare Restored Files Folder

    When I click on Restore Files nothing happens.

  • Found it!  Seemed to be quite a lag until the file appeared.

  • It apparently needed to search the index to bring up the file you wanted. There have also been other posts reporting that entering too much of a multiword file name brings back no results, while part of the file name works fine. Glad you were able to resolve it.
