Just bought Windows Live OneCare and could not download it -- help! RRS feed

    Just bought Windows Live OneCare antivirus with my credit card online and was not given an opportunity to download it. I have no software after purchasing? How do I get the download??

    All I got was the message "A new service has been added to your Windows Live ID". I have no idea what that means.

    Why wasn't I taken immediately after entering my credit card to a screen enabling me to download this software? How do I get the software I just paid for?

    Also, I got no email confirmation of my purchase from Microsoft either. What is the deal?

    I'm not sure of why you weren't redirected to the download page but this seems to be a fairly common issue. Install the One Care trial - http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/install/install.htm After installation open One Care, select "Subscribe" and when asked for a Live ID enter the Live ID and password used to purchase your subscription and One Care will activate.
