Virus...HELP!!!

  I have norton antivirus and have never had a problem with viruses up til now. Usually I run a scan and it takes care of everything for me. I have recently picked up some kind of virus that norton does not recognize or cannot remove. When I boot up a screen comes on asking me to enter a valid product key or purchase one. At the bottom right corner of my screen it reads ( Windows Vista (TM) Build 6002 This copy of windows is not genuine ) I cannot remove this issue. It is not effecting the way my computer runs at this point. It is just annoying. Has anyone heard of this and how do I fix it without taking it to some repairman. I am somewhat computer litterate, self taught. I think with some instruction I can complete the task. HELP PLEASE!!!
