  • Hello,

    1) "validation error:Validation Error: "no results found for: genuine windows7 DLLegalization aspx" is a random error that we had though was fixed. Basically, it occures when the webserver misinterprets the Validation information from the Validation server to be a Search Request.  If you receive this error, please try again.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    2) Windows Issue:

Computers, which are built by large manufactures that come with Windows Pre-Installed, come with two (2) Product Keys:

    A)   OEM SLP: This key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes from the Factory. This key is geared to work with the OEM Bios Flag found only on that Manufacturer's computer hardware. So when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP key (at the factory) Windows looks at the motherboard and sees the proper OEM Bios Flag (for that Manufacturer and that version of Windows) and Self-Activates. (that's why you did not need to Activate your computer after you brought it home)

    B)    COA SLP: This is the Product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or bottom) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but should only be used in limited situations (sush as if the OEM SLP key stops self-activating for whatever reason). The key must be activated by Phone. (Note: All manufacturers that use the OEM SLP system are required by contract to include a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) sticker, that has a COA SLP key, on the computer)

Your Windows is using an OEM SLP key, but (for whatever reason) cannot see the special instructions in the computer’s motherboard and is unable to Self-Activate.

To fix the issue, you will need to change out the OEM SLP key with the COA SLP key.  The normal way to do this is to click the ‘Start’ button, right-click ‘Computer’, select ‘Properties’ and then click ‘Change Product Key’ (located in the lower right-hand side of the window). Enter the COA SLP key and follow the instructions in the Change Product Key Wizard.

Alternate steps to change the product key

    1)    Click the Start button

    2)    Type: slui.exe 3 and hit the Enter key

    3)    Type in the Product key from the sticker on your computer

    4)    Click the Next button.

    5)    You will be asked if want to Activate, click ok

    6)    It will attempt to Activate by the internet and will return an Invalid Key error (this is ok, continue to step 7)

    7)    Click the Start button

    8)    Type: slui.exe 4 and hit the Enter key

    9)    Select your location in the drop down menu and click the Next button

    10) The next screen provides the number to call to Activate by Phone

NOTE: when you call that number, you will first hear an Automated Voice. If the Automated Voice gives you an option to talk to a Live Activation Rep., select that option. If not, do not enter any numbers. This should force the Automated Voice to transfer you to a Live Activation Rep. Trying to Activate thru the Automated Voice will not work, in your case; only thru the Live Activation Rep. will your Activation be successful.

    3) Office Issue:

    OGA Data-->
    Office Status: 108 Invalid VLK
Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 - 108 Invalid VLK
    OGA Version: N/A, 0x80070002
    Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002

The Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 is Non-Genuine.  It was installed using a Invalid Volume Licensce Key (VLK). VLK software is not to be sold to consumers, but are designed for large organizations that need 10s 100s or 1000s of Office installs.  In this case the VLK is Invalid. This means it was created with a Piracy software called a Key Generator (KeyGen).  In other words, Microsoft did not create or release this key.

The reason you hadn't see the Non-Genuine message sooner is that Office doesn't have any anti-piracy systems other then Activation and this pirated Product Key is a Volume License Key that doesn't require Activation.  The only way for you to have found out that the Office was Non-Genuine would have been if you had gone to http://Microsoft.com/genuine and click the 'Validate Office", gone to the Office Download site and attempted to download any validation protected content or by installing the Office Notifier. It turns out that Microsoft recently released the Office Notifier thru Windows Update and it is what is notifying you that the Office is Non-Genuine

Now, I am Not accusing you of piracy. There are a number of reason why your Office would be using a Pirated key. The three most common are:

    1) You may have bought the software from a unscrupulous seller who sold you pirated software.

In which case I recommend, if possible, contacting that seller and demand the Genuine Microsoft software, that you paid for or at least a refund. I also recommend submitting a Piracy Report at http://microsoft.com/piracy

    or

    2) You had your computer worked on (by a repair person, a friend or that smart kid down the street) and in the course of fixing the PC, they had to reinstall Office.  Instead of contacting you to get the proper Product Key, (maybe due to not knowing it was wrong or due to laziness) they downloaded it from the internet.

In this case, you probably have a Genuine copy (and Product Key) of Office, you just need to uninstall the Non-genuine one and reinstall the software using the proper (Genuine) Product Key

    or

    3) A repair person, a friend or that smart kid down the street may have thought they were doing you a Favor by installing a copy of Office on your computer, "for Free".  But in fact he/she installed a Pirated Copy.  It's all togeather possible they didn't know they were doing anything wrong and thought they were just being nice.

In this case, the best way to resolve the issue would be to uninstall the software and if you still want to use Office, buy it from a trusted retailer or online store.

    Thank you,

Trying to Activate thru the Automated Voice will not work, in your case; only thru the Live Activation Rep. will your Activation be successful .

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    3) Office Issue:

    OGA Data-->

    Thank you,

    Darin MS

You are using a Dell computer with a BIOS well before the release date of Windows Vista - the install is not valid because it is using a method that locks the Key to the BIOS - and your Bios is not valid.

You should either revert your install back to its original XP, or purchase a valid upgrade or Full license for the machine.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    3) Office Issue:

    OGA Data-->

    Thank you,

    Darin MS

Please repost in your OWN, NEW thread - this avoids confusion.
Having said that, you are using a version of Office that is not for sale to the general public, but only to organisations for use on their own machines. The Key is not in MS's database of issued keys, so it has been created by a hacker's KeyGen program.
