Exam retakes RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am wondering.. If I fail an MTA exam, and retake it, will the retaken exam be the exact same? With the same questions and whatnot? There seems to be no question like this anywhere online..

  • Computer24HR's answer is partially correct as some may be the same.  It is extremely unlikely that you'll get the exact same questions each time you re-sit an exam.

The reason being is that the pool of questions is quit large for each exam and Microsoft only uses a portion of the question pool for each exam i.e. There could be 180 questions in an exam pool and only 40 are used.  This is done to ensure people don't just sit an exam to find out the questions, study the content, then re-sit the exam and pass.
