Construction Information for Routes... RRS feed

  • Question

  • S&T 15.00.17.1600

Have been getting the following error message for some months:

"Construction information for routes could not be downoladed. Try downloading new construction informaiton again later."

Am I no longer able to get updated construction, or is my link wonky?

  • Great idea--but my Win7 does not allow an option to "run as adminsitrator."

    Hi Carol,

    Try the following:

    1. Right-click the desktop icon

    2. Click "Properties"

    3. Click "Compatibility" tab

    4. Place a check-mark in front of "Run this program as an Administrator"

    5. Click "OK"

  • I have only been able to download construction updates as admin (I use WXP).

I log in as the user that uses S&T. I right-click the S&T icon and do "Run As Adminstrator" and then download the construction updates. Then I close S&T and run it again normally.

And now that I think on it, that's how long I haven't been able to download construction--since I installed 15 on my new Win7...

    Is there a patch, whatever?

  • FOUND IT--thanks for the hint. Had to go to the MS Download center to physically download the file and then put it into the Data folder.

Then when I opened S&T, it was there.

    Thank you!

  • That did it--and I won't have to keep going back to download the data. Thank you!
