After updated to Win 8.1 ( Friday 12/6), I turn on my device and it automatically logs in to the Administrator account ( which I didn't create before the update). Afterwards, I realize all my file in the "Local account"'s desktop aren't there.
So I went into the file explorer and used the search tool to find these files. I found it, then i moved ( not copy) some of my importants file to the Admin account 's desktop. Then I turn off the device. The following day, I turn on the device, this
time Window ask me to chose the account, and I chose my Local account. But I found that those files that I transferred yesterday are gone ( can't find them even with search tool). Today, I create a new local account to see if I can find these find. Then when
i switch to the new local account, I found the Admin account, I log into it, but the file that I transferred still aren't there ( I use the search tool too). So any suggest that I can find my files :(. Also I try to recovery the device but it says that the
disk C are corrupted, I also use chkdsk to fix it then start recovering again but thing doesn't change.
