SQL Server Backup's - Limited Data Backup Option RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have come up with a scenario where my Test Team needs a backup of my production to test on top of that data in their environment .

But they doesn't have enough space on their machine to be able to restore the full production DB

Wish to know if implementing or introducing a new backup option with 'Backup Data From & Till' is a workable solution or not ?

Just like we have Point-in-Time restore , can't we have a option similar to backups ?

  • Hello,

This forum is for discussions and questions regarding profiles and Microsoft's recognition system on the MSDN and TechNet sites. It is not for products/technologies.

As it's off-topic here, I am moving the question to the Where is the forum for... forum.
