    2) D/L the trial version of the product or get the full version if available.

  • In fact, it is no longer called MOS but Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) for Office 2007. http://www.certiport.com/portal/desktopdefault.aspx?page=common/pagelibrary/mbc_mcas.html

If you want to clear the exam for the first shot, it is not difficult at all. I have cleared both Excel and Word 2003, 2007 for the first time. For Microsoft Excel 2007, the information can be found here: http://www.certiport.com/portal/common/DocumentLibrary/MCAS_Objectives_Excel.pdf.

You would need to be very familiar to using Excel 2007 with all those functions. Creating and manipulating of data, formating data and content, etc... That's when you show that you are competent in Excel 2007.

The time limit of the test is 60min, so you would want to learn using the short cut keys to fasten your pace.

The ways and methods for preparation is the same for most of the certifications, but how you learn and apply it during the test is accuracy, and know your stuffs well!

    Good luck!
