Beginner aiming towards Exam 70-448;advice needed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Everyone,

I am currently a grad student in MIS with interests in BI and DW fields.I don't have any prior work experience in these fields apart from college projects in BI. I want to get a head start in the BI field and i am at loss for proper guidance.I am planning to study for this exam as it covers all of the MS BI suite which i have worked on,although to a limited extent.

I wanted to know whether it's a good idea to give this exam w/o any work experience and if yes, whether i should just go ahead and start reading the official prep guide as it will get me familiar with the MS BI suite to a good extent.

    Thanks

  • I would recommend MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-448).

I have friends who passed this test without actual BI experience (e.g. SQL Dev).

As for me I found the book useful for exam preparation.

I passed 70-445, 70-446 and 70-448, did not have time to write 70-552 yet.

    Below is a useful link:
