Answers

  • I have only worked with Dialogic, Audiocodes & Cisco Gateways
They all have their advantages and disadvantages
I have not tested any other Gateway vendor so I can't compare all gateway vendors

Depending how you want to connect to the PBX or PSTN one gateway vendor have more options than the other gateway vendors

Audiocodes has more flexibility in adding different cards like FXS, BRI, PRI or SIP to SIP
Dialogic is better in Hybrid gateway support but not very cheap

Sometimes it is even less expensive to use a Basic Gateway and use a server to install Mediation Server

  • hi Deli it was a problem with permissions and I got it working thanks for the reply.

This thing rocks; now just need to get a hybrid media gateway and this project will be complete.
