Narrator text to speech turn off RRS feed

  • Question

  • I clicked on the app "text to speech," and I was unable to click it back off. I had a password on my phone and I had to turn my phone off and restart it several times to get the password screen to pop up. The text to speech app would not allow me to scroll down or sideways to get to any applications or tools I needed. I finally had to look up how to do a hard factory reset and I lost my pics and some data because of it. I was very upset and it made me doubt the Windows phone all together!!! Has anyone else had a similar issue?

  • For help using Windows Phone please post on the Windows Phone forums on http://answers.microsoft.com .

The Building Windows Store apps with C# and VB forum is for developers to discuss writing their own Windows Store apps.

That said, if you've turned on Narrator you can turn it off with the Windows key + Volume Up.
