CRM 2011 - Email Router configuration issues

Question
-
Hi,
I need help with emailing in CRM 2011 (on-premise). We have the CRM Email router installed and configured. When email activities are created in CRM , they keep sitting in 'Pending Send' state.
1. I get the following error when I go to Users, Queues.... tab, select Load Data
"The E-Mail Router Configuration Manager was unable to retrieve user and queue information from the MS Dynamics CRM Server. This may indicate that the MS Dynamics CRM server is busy....."
2. I get the following error when I click on the Discovery service url from CRM -> Settings -> Customization -> Developer Resources
"An error has occurred.
Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support. "Below are the email configuration manager settings :
Configuration Profiles tab (Incoming profile)
E-mail server Type: POP3
Authentication Type: NTLM
Location Email Server: exchangeservername
Access Credentials: User Specified
Configuration Profiles tab (Outgoing profile)
E-mail server Type: SMTP
Authentication Type: Windows Authentication
Location Server: exchangeservername
Access Credentials: Other Specified (used a domain administrator account)
Deployments tab
MIcrosoft Dynamics CRM server: http://servername:5555/orgname/
Access Credentials: Other Specified (used the same domain administrator account as outgoing profile)
The configuration changes have been saved and published.
Please help me resolve this issue.
(I have seen a couple of similar threads for CRM 4.0 and CRM 2011 but couldn't get the issue resolved )

there is a button named as Test accessibility on email router interface.do you see that?Friday, October 14, 2011 6:54 AM

No... This is the email router for CRM 2011. I'm guessing that it must have been renamed to Load Data on the Users, Queues, and Forward Mailboxes tab. The only other buttons i see on the interface are - New/Modify/Remove/Publish and Close.Friday, October 14, 2011 7:59 AM

after you click Load Data,if that correct, the Test accessibility button will visible, and then you can test the email router.Friday, October 14, 2011 2:17 PM

I'm getting error in "Load Data " functionality itself. I mentioned the error in my post above. Not sure what is the cause of the error. Please let me know if you have any thoughts
