  • This problem was about a year ago , i see that wise fixer and ASC is one of the problems to this as i read other related threads,so should i remove it? what do i do after that?

  • Both ASC and WiseFixer have a nasty habit of making (as do other registry cleaners) a mess of peoples' machines. Both should be uninstalled.

    However, I don't believe that they are the immediate cause of your current problem.

    Let's start with the last error first - it may give us some more information if we can fix it...

    Close all open windows.

    Open an Elevated Command Prompt window, and type the following command

    wusa /uninstall /kb:971033

    and hit the Enter key

    Accept the warnings/confirmations, and wait for it to complete

    copy and paste the output (if any) from the command prompt window to a reply here,

    Reboot

    reinstall the update from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971033

    Reboot

    run another MGADiag report, and post it.
